About Buttercup

Hi, I’m Kim. I own and run Buttercup Photography, with the help of a number of assistant photographers, and Gemma who keeps me organised on the admin front.

My family is my inspiration for being a photographer. For me, family is the most important part of my life. I am a daughter, a sister, a wife and devoted mum to my two gorgeous girls, Ella and Sienna.

My journey as a professional photographer began when I started assisting as a wedding photographer and it has naturally evolved from there. I loved being part of such an intimate, special and romantic day and capturing a moment in time. Once I’d had my own family, I couldn’t stop photographing them, so it felt natural to add family portraits to my wedding offering.
